About Me
Okay, let's see what boring tidbits I can tell you about me. I'll give you 10.

1. I'm changeable. These things may be true right this minute, but I'll change my mind or these attributes tomorrow or the next day.

2. I have a son and a daughter. The son is finished with school; the daughter is getting close. Both were homeschooled the W H O L E time. Yes, all those years. It's unbelievable if you ask me, considering I thought my partner was crazy when he mentioned it before either of them were born. My thoughts? "Homeschool? No way. I'm not presumptuous enough to believe I can do that!"

3. I'm the product of classroom schools and university (4 years only, yep, low IQ). I'm a horrible proofreader, so my web pages have many typos/errors.

4. Goal: Get to Spain, Italy, and the UK ASAP. I'm saving all my pennies since I can't convince my partner to pay for it. Since I have no job, this will be no mean feat.

5. Why we homeschool:  Um, 'cause, um, well, why not? Do those who send their children to the classroom schools have a reason why they send them there? Usually not, so why do I have to have a reason for homeschooling? No, people don't ask me why we homeschool, which has always sort of baffled me. I guess they just figure that it's for one of the usual reasons.

6. I think I'm finished buying curriculum products. Yea! Well, except for piano books. Yeah, we have enough curriculum products to teach another kid probably. I look forward to getting rid of a few books when my daughter finishes up. I feel relieved that I'm not on the curriculum merry-go-round anymore.

7. If you must, you may write me a note.

8. Fave TV show:  The Amazing Race. I can't decide who my favorite team is. I really liked the Chos until they got eliminated. I guess the beauty queens because they understand stress and don't whine. They're like little Energizer bunnies.

9. Fave movie:  There's not just one. But I enjoyed Under the Greenwood Tree recently. MI3 was entertaining--surprisingly.

10. Fave book:  There's not just one. Wow, I can't believe that none come to mind right now. Well, I guess Dan Brown's recent book was pretty good; it didn't bore me silly like some books do. It's funny that I can't recall the title. The Netflix version of it is supposed to be arriving here tomorrow. I enjoyed I'm a Stranger Here Myself; it's very light reading. Pleasant, though.

Okay, now you know all about me or at least more than you need to know to draw all the wrong conclusions.
