We just got this book at the library book sale!  I really like it.  I was surprised to find so many astronomy books on the last day of the sale; there were quite a few.  What's neat about this one is that it tells one how to find the Big Dipper, the North Star, and the Little Dipper step by step.  It makes it easy as as pie.  (Where did that saying come from?)  And the book made finding these constellations a little more interesting than, "There's the Big Dipper, which points to the North Star, which is part of the Little Dipper.  See it?  No?  Well, let's get in the house.  It's getting late."  My daughter and I read the book together, then went outside.  I told her which way was north, and she did the rest.  The book's a constellation-finding confidence builder!  It's truly a cute book and would work great as a part of an astronomy unit study for grades K-2.
